Your conversations are not our data.
Messenger Next provides a dedicated window for Meta's Messenger interface. It does not operate a message service, an account system, or a developer-controlled analytics pipeline.
No Messenger Next telemetry.
The app does not collect, analyze, sell, or store messages, credentials, or usage analytics. It also bypasses selected Facebook tracking redirects when external links leave the app.
Messenger itself remains a Meta service. Account and conversation data may still be processed by Meta under Meta's terms and privacy policy; Messenger Next cannot remove that service-level relationship.
Where sign-in happens
Messenger Next loads facebook.com/messages. You sign in
through Meta's own interface with the Facebook account you already
use. The developer does not provide a custom login form and does not
run a separate authentication server.
The wrapper changes the desktop presentation around Messenger. It removes unrelated Facebook interface elements and keeps external navigation under explicit desktop controls; it does not replace or bypass Meta's account system.
A developer with a public identity
Messenger Next is not distributed from behind an anonymous brand. Its developer and the public profiles used to verify that identity are presented on the dedicated Team page.
What unofficial means
Messenger Next is not an official Facebook or Meta application and has no affiliation, endorsement, or partnership with Meta Platforms, Inc. Its purpose is to make the existing Messenger interface easier to use as a focused desktop application, not to impersonate or circumvent the company that operates Messenger.
